Libby completed her Occupational Therapy degree in 2006 at LaTrobe University. Having worked across a number of settings with adults and children, she is able to connect with individuals, to see them as a person first and work on reducing the barriers to living the life they want to live.

Libby is trained as a hatha yoga teacher completing her training at Victorian Institute of Yoga Education and Teacher Training (VIYETT) in 2012. She has also completed specialised prenatal and postnatal yoga teacher training through Bliss Baby Yoga. Libby has practiced yoga for 15 years with teachers in Melbourne and overseas. She teaches yoga classes open to all levels of experience. Through movement and breath and guided relaxation, Libby guides you to a state of peace and deep connection with yourself. Her background in dance and occupational therapy informs her sensitive and accessible approach.

"Yoga is more than just the physical practice. Yoga is a practice in being with yourself. Away from the distractions of technology and all the tasks we do on a daily basis, we practice mindfulness. When we can be in the present moment, and feel that we are truly alive."

Whats in a name?

There's a Tiger in the teapot?

                  Well yes!

A favorite book of mine from my childhood was called The tiger in the teapot by Betty Yurdin with beautiful illustrations by William Pene Du Bois. First publishing in 1968 and sadly no longer in print! The story goes, there is a tiger in the family's biggest teapot and they need the teapot for a special afternoon tea. Everyone tries to entice the tiger out to no avail until a small child comes and asks politely and invites the tiger to tea to which he agrees!

How does this translate to my work? Well, it captures the imagination, that's for sure. It is my aim to bring more creativity and spirit into my life and the lives of others I work with. For me, I also like the idea that inside of us all there is greater potential, a wild and creative energy that is waiting to be released. Sometimes it gets bound up when we don't have the space to listen to the yearnings.

If you are feeling disconnected from your body, or from your spirit, then my approach might be able to help.

"Creativity is the greatest rebellion in existance" OSHO
